The Martello – Bar in Bray, Pub in Bray, Co. Wicklow
Recently refurbished in contemporary colours and style, extensive barfood, wine and cocktail menu’s, thirteen large plasma screens for all sporting events and live music seven days a week during the summer months are just some of the outstanding attractions of the dynamic Martello Bar.
Named after the Martello Tower that once stood sentinel on the Bray beach, it is recognized as one of the top lounge bars south of Dublin city. Laid out on two levels, it has a conservatory upstairs boasting spectacular views over the Bay as well as seating adjacent to the Tower Bistro.
Downstairs, it opens out on to a fully heated area in front of the building with continental-style seating and full waiting staff service, with the burgundy and black décor of the tables, seating and parasols giving it the most distinctive frontage on the Bray seafront.
Open 10.30am till late Monday to Saturday (and noon till late on Sundays), The Martello Bar offers a breakfast menu from 8am till noon and a barfood menu from noon till 9.30pm seven days a week.
